SAMPLES POLICY
Oceanic Gems can offer you one 'Free' Mother of Pearl tile or mosaic sample in a specified pattern and in a specified shell type, per customer. However, if you wish to receive more than one pattern and or more than one shell type, then we can supply one free tile or mosaic sample in each pattern and or shell type, up to a maximum of 5 pieces.
N.B. Although we do not charge for samples, we do charge a set fee per sample, for Postage, Packaging & Administrative Costs.

As such, we will do our best to beat any quote offered by a United Kingdom based supplier.

We are happy to accept and ship orders 'Worldwide' and although we would prefer payment in United Kingdom Pounds ( £ ), we are also are happy to accept payment in the following currencies ( subject to a currency exchange fee ):

In order to import our tiles and mosaics, you will need to obtain an import permit from the United States Fisheries & Wildlife Service. Please follow the following links for details:

N.B. You do 'not' need to have a paypal account to make a payment through our Shopping Cart. Just follow the on-screen instuctions, when and where indicated.

GUARANTEE
If, due to faulty workmanship something goes wrong with your
item(s) within 6 months of your purchase, we will repair it or replace
it free of charge.
N.B. This Guarantee does not cover damage to item(s) due to
general wear and tear or accidental damage.
DAMAGED GOODS
Oceanic Gems reserves the right to inspect any goods that have been damaged in transit, prior to any refund or replacement.
RETURNS
If for any reason you decide to return item(s) within 7 days of receipt of your order, we will offer to make a refund upon receipt of returned goods. Refunds will be processed within 28 days of receipt of returned goods.
Goods must be returned unused, in good condition and in their original packaging. If goods are returned in poor condition or out of their original packaging, Oceanic Gems reserves the right to charge you a re-stocking fee.
If you wish to return any item(s), please contact us directly so that we can provide you with a Returned Goods Reference Number. We cannot accept returns without a Returned Goods Reference Number.
Customers are responsible for return postage costs, which should 'always' include insurance for the 'full' value of the goods and be 'trackable'.
Tiles, Mosaics & Panels are made to order and as such they are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where the goods are proven to be damaged in transit. Please purchase Tile, Mosaic or Panel 'Samples' prior to any order.
In accordance with our damaged goods policy, Oceanic Gems reserves the right to inspect damaged goods, prior to any refund or replacement.
For Health & Hygiene reasons, we cannot accept the return of Earrings.

Due to the organic nature of most of our tiles, mosaics & panels, there are inherent variations in colour, natural pattern, shell thickness, lustre & opalesence. Each shell is unique and therefore each tile is subsequently unique. As such we cannot guarantee that the tiles that we supply will be an exact replica of any samples that you pre-order.
